President’s Notes:
Sadly we heard of the sudden death of Pip Hopkinson, a larger than life character who was great fun to know. We were on the committee together for several years..
I will be in North wales next week, visiting the in-laws over the weekend, then staying at Ynys. Meeting with the architect to go through the plans for the internal layout. Also to discuss what the impact of the listing of Helyg will be and what options we have for improvements.
The Aspirants Meet is on the weekend of the 21st/23rd and the following weekend the committees are meeting.

PS: CC Sandstone 8 Outcrops Walk – Sunday 16th Sept.
The annual 8 Outcrops Walk is scheduled for this coming Sunday 16th September taking in, as the title suggests 8 of the most popular sandstone outcrops south west of Tunbridge Wells. The walk starts at 9am prompt from the RSPB reserve car park in Broadwater Warren (TQ 554 371) and usually finishes around 7pm, but as it is a figure of 8 route there is an option of ducking out midway, which would be around 1pm ish, or even join from there for the rest of the route.
As usual Graham Adcock will be leading this and it would be good to have some idea of who might be coming along. His email is; gadcock@gmail.com
Most of the outcrops should be in reasonable condition still.
